St. Louis Aquarium Custom Arch Bike Racks

In 2019 the St. Louis Aquarium wanted custom arch bike racks with their logo laser cut into the center medallion. This logo had a lot of interior details like the animals’ mouths and eyes that would need to be bridged in. Instead of adding a lot of clumsy bridges that would disrupt the logo, I added a fleur-de-lis outline allowing me to use negative space to show the details and bridge the more subtly.

Winona Levee Park Benches and Panels

In 2018, the city of Winona asked Anova to make custom overhanging wall mounted benches and decorative panels for guardrails. One of Anova’s factories is in Winona so the city was happy to use a local business. One of the challenges was designing the bench so that the anchors were at proper distances from the edge of the concrete and other anchors.

Dual Receptacle for the Delmar loop

In 2015, University City in St. Louis asked Anova to make a two-color side by side, trash and recycling dual receptacle with the labels perforated into the sides. This was my first Custom project with Anova and the first experience I had taking a product all the way through CAD, Drafting, Prototyping, and Production.
