Waterjet Cut Graphic Panels

Project Brief

Anova was gearing up to enter the graphic panel market to capitalize on the purchase of CNC water jet machinery. The design team was tasked with producing a hand full of panel concepts. These panels will be used for privacy walls, facades, and fencing.

Ripple

Single Panel Render

In past pattern explorations the landscape architecture leaned into repetitive patterns with cool optical effects. Ripple was designed to follow that trend. The perforations create an optical illusion that make the panels appear to have a 3 Dimension form. This is a versatile design that fits in well anywhere.

Active

A large part of Anova’s market is parks and recreation centers this concept was a single example of what active silhouettes could look like integrated with a simple horizontal slot pattern. The final product would allow planners to choose from multiple silhouettes and plain slotted panels.

Skyline

This panel concept was based on an abstracted skyline using perspective to convey the shapes of the skyscrapers. This concept was largely aimed at urban settings since most of Anova’s existing perforation patterns we nature themed.
